The 23HD provides the following features.
1) Viewing angle X & Y of approximately170 degrees. Screen size 495.4 x 309.6, with 1920 x 1280 pixels. LCD is protected in normal operational use by a tough acrylic panel 3mm thick, with integral "antiglare" coating. The monitor may be ordered and operated without the LCD's protective panel if desired; and the panel is field replaceable in the event of damage being sustained.
2) VESA: Mounting holes (M4) on 75 and 100mm centres.
3) Backlight brightness: 250 cd/m' Contrast: 800:1 Response: Tr/Tf 8mS Colourimetry: close match to EBU requirements, via individually adjustable gamma look-up table. Adjustment of R, G, B gains for LCD adjustment, if required. Monochrome mode supported. Gain, Black level, Saturation and (NTSC) hue. Optionally selectable edge enhancement. 2/4 field processing selectable for minimum image delay.
4) HD-SDI & SDI input on single BNC with automatic change over. 26 HD Standards supported. HD-Component input port. HD-RGB port. CVBS input via separate BNC. S-Video on 4 pin. DVI input port on 24 pin connector. VGA port on HD15 connector. On screen "banner" declaring the standard detected. This banner may be displayed for a predetermined period, or muted.
5) Overscan/correct scan mode available via OSD Menu.
6) Powerful menu available for adjustment many other functions including manually adjustable X & Y "zoom" and individual "scan" amplitudes via a scaler with precision digital filtering. The monitor is housed in a rack mount cabinet less than 100mm deep, and is powered by a 3 pin IEC mains connector. 7KGm nominal. The monitor draws approximately 60 Watts and has fan assisted convection cooling. Cabinet colour RAL 7011, eggshell finish Iron Grey.
