EZ3-6.4 High resolution (3U) LCD Monitor
EZ3-6.4 is a high performance LCD monitor with a screen resolution of 640x480 pixels.
The Monitor is provided with 3 separate screens, offering SDI and CVBS inputs for each, as standard.
Inputs auto-switch between 525 & 625 standards, with an on-screen banner declaring the signal mode. Although the natural format of the LCD is 4:3, the high resolution permits 16:9 video signals to be monitored with very little interpolation, and the screen artifacts that may be present with lower resolution screens are virtually eliminated. In fact the screen resolution on this triple monitor is virtually double, in both X & Y planes, that of the standard smaller, lower resolution, triple LCDs.
In SDI mode, there is direct conversion of the bitstream, with digital drive to the LCD pixels, eliminating analog artifacts from the image.
The EZ3-6.4 is only 125mm deep in it's 3U case. The monitor is equipped with an internal universal PSU, eliminating external "Wall warts", and their flimsy leads.
The EZ3-6.4 provides a powerful menu which offers, amongst other functions, overscan and normal scan modes for each screen, so nothing is lost at the edges.
Tally lamps are provided for each screen, which are normally red. Multicolour (R/Y/G) tally lamps are available as an option.
