Murraypro are proud to present the Ez-vU, a uniquely styled, compact widescreen triple 16:9 & 4:3 LCD monitor array designed for applications where space is at a premium. Thanks to innovative design, the Ez-vU is the ultimate in versatility.

Drawing on over 25 years of broadcast manufacturing experience, Murraypro realise the importance of an integral mains power supply, thereby eliminating at a stroke the need to accommodate bulky external power units with their vulnerable cables and connections. The Ez-vU may also be battery powered if required.

As standard, each video input terminates in 75 ohms. A major feature of the Ez-vU is the provision of programmable termination links which enable Y Cr Cb, and even RGBS inputs, to be configured for looping service! Ez-vU is easily configured to displat NTSC format signals.

Ez-vU boasts a number of preset LCD scan modes, selectable either from the front panel, or the remote control port. 16:9 aspect ratio is always available, whilst internal links are preset to give 4:3.

Each Ez-vU monitor in the frame comes complete with is own transmission tally lamp.

Naturally, with a monitor this good, Murraypro has ensured that only the latest state of the art high specification, active matrix TFT low smear 146mm LCDs optimised for TV use, are used in the Ez-vU, boasting these major advantages:-

i) High brightness capability of up to 400 Cd/M²

ii) High contrast ratio, up to 250:1

iii) 0.3mm pixel pitch.

iv) Very low visibility vertical interpolation.

v) Excellent viewing angles in both the horizontal and vertical planes.

vi) High, 400 x 234, LCD resolution.

To prevent the possibility of damage to delicate internal cables when adjusting the LCDs for optimum viewing angle, Murraypro has designed the case to tilt as a complete assembly.

Ez-vU is presented in an attractive, low reflectance seal-grey finish that has been stove enamelled for maximum durability, on to the welded all steel case which is tough enough to take the knocks of the real world in its stride. Whilst we would not claim Ez-vU to be "bullet proof", the tough non-scratch acrylic sheet with antiglare finish, protects the LCD. Optionally, this can be supplied with a Military specification anti-reflective optical coating.

Ez-vU can be provided with an ident strip holder, and whilst this is normally back lit by an electro-luminescent panel, it can also be supplied without illumination.

Conforming with IEC 297 mechanical specification for rack mount equipment, the 3U Ez-vU is only 160mm deep. Dimensions include the internal power supply, making installation significantly easier.

Ez-vU consumes less than 25VA from a 230V 50Hz supply fed via IEC mains connector (EN60.320).
