Octo-Vu LCD monitor

Octo-Vu

8 LCD monitors in a 1U case

Cat 417: 8 screen, PAL/NTSC operation, looping input, 1 U LCD monitor

Murraypro has designed the Octo-Vu for space critical applications, and is ideal where many channels require monitoring simultaneously. Octo-Vu, with its multi-LCD format provides the definitive cost effective solution.

Octo-Vu is the obvious choice for portable mixer, SNG, ENG and compact fly-away kit. Despite their small size, Octo-Vu's LCDs provide excellent picture quality, amazing perceived resolution, with even fine graphics detail being clearly resolved. Remarkably too, there is only modest edge cut-off, so the majority of the picture area is displayed.

Murraypro furnish 8 looping video inputs on the 200mm deep steel cased Octo-Vu. Internal links permitting mixed, high impedance, or 75 ohm operation for each input. Octo-Vu automatically selects colour decoding mode for PAL or NTSC input sources, which can be fed mixed in any order. With the SDI input option, Murraypro's Octo-Vu is ideal for file-server, and input line "presence of signal" monitoring applications in the MCR and CAR environments. Octo-Vu is equipped with a fully regulated internal power supply fed via an IEC mains connector, so no bulky external PSUs to mount! For field use, Octo-Vu may also be dc powered from an external battery.

Tally lamps are provided to clarify operation with vision mixers; these red LEDs may also be interfaced with Murraypro's own "SDI error" logic which gives instant warning of SDI demodulation problems. The front panel of the Octo-Vu may be inclined from the normal, to permit mounting above or below the viewers' eyeline. Octo-Vu units may be stacked, without any ventilation worries, to create display matricies of any height.
