Irreversable damage can be caused to LCDs by exceeding their (upper or lower) temperature limits. Please ask for advice.
Users are advised that long periods of exposure to a fixed high contrast image may result in a degree of "sticking", and that this effect is more likely to be experienced with wide viewing angle LCDs employing "in-plane switching" techniques. This effect is usually easily cleared by displaying a white field for a short period.
